Western Michigan University

Hello future college students! My name is Aaron Brown and I’m a 2007 graduate of Oakridge High School. I’m in my sophomore year of college. I spent my first year at Muskegon Community College and this past fall I began attending Western Michigan University. WMU is located in the great diverse city of Kalamazoo, which is about an hour and a half from Muskegon. There is plenty to do downtown year round, and countless things to do on campus. I enjoy attending WMU football, basketball, hockey, and baseball games. WMU has endless student organizations and I guarantee that you could find one that suits you. WMU holds countless orientations that you can attend to get to know the campus and university, if you’re ever in town just contact me at 231-215-1467 or email me and I will personally show you around campus and fill you in with anything you want to know about Western Michigan University. If you would like to visit campus and stay for a weekend let me know in advance and I will find a way to make it happen.

Grand Valley State University

Jordan Holter is 2007 graduate of Oakridge High School and is presently enrolled as a sophomore at Grand Valley State University. Jordan is studying in Health Sciences with a longterm goal of going to graduate school to become a Physician’s Assistant. Her first semester in the dorms was a little ruff, but she adapted and had a great second semester. She is currently living in an apartment in Allendale and loves studying and living at GVSU. Listen in, she’ll tell you all about how she decided to become a PA and her life at Grand Valley. If you’d like to become more acquainted with Grand Valley State University or if you are interested in the PA Program drop her an email. Northern Michigan University

Dani Patton is a 2008 graduate of Oakridge High School and is presently enrolled as a freshman at Northern Michigan University where her hair is colored purple, pink, and yellow. Dani loves Finnish music and Finnish culture and will be spending a semester abroad in Finland sometime soon. Meanwhile she’s living “the good life” in the dorm up at Northern, playing her music loud, going to class, working at Target, and feeling what it’s like to be on her own for her first time ever. Listen in, she’ll tell you all about her first semester up there in the “Great White North.” If you’d like to get to know Northern first hand, drop her an email and she’ll find a couch for you to crash on.
