2009 – Time to Shape Your World

handsworld.jpg
It is time! Time for you to take up the reigns and shape this planet.
I have no doubt that you are up to the challenge. It is your world…the youth of this nation. It is your time to right the ship, to create a brighter future for you and your kids; one shaped from awareness and based on truth and justice.   A lot of you gave everything to the November Election. You worked your tails off – you knew the issues – and because of that so did many others. Now is not the time to become complacent. Continue to press the significant issues. Hold your government, your friends, your family accountable to those things that truly matter in this world.

As The Mahatma said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” You can do it! You are awakening. And the world will awaken with you.

To all of those Oakridge students who volunteered in the 2008 Election Democrat and Republican you were truly inspirational.

Check out the photos from Obama HQ on election weekend.
