It’s time for our next bake sale. It will be both lunches, THURSDAY THE 18TH AND FRIDAY THE 19TH. I have a list of things to bring. The plan is that one person bake one good off of the list and bring it Thursday morning to Mr. Woods room so that I can put all of the food in the cafeteria. So I need seven people to commit to bringing one item. We have:

1. Chocolate Chip Cookies – Sophelia
2. Sugar Cookies – Charity Wilde
3. Brownies – Kaylie Payne
4. Rice Crispy Treats – Jessica Jenkins
5. No Bake Cookies – Breanna Stradel
6. Pop Corn Balls –
7. Puppy Chow – Torrey Esparza
8. Cupcakes – Kara Finley

Now I will need three volunteers for each lunch to help sell items, the people helping to sell should be the ones bringing in items. Signing up for lunches means that you work both days, unless you can’t for some reason

The New and Improved and festive holiday season Charity

Mr. Wood needs to know if you are going to Selma.

I need to know if you are committed to go. If you say “Yes” then I will reserve an airline ticket for you. If you then back out you will be responsible for the $40 deposit for the plane ticket. So, please let me know (by posting in the comments section) by December 20, whether you are “in” or “out”. The following people, as of December 14, have said that they intend to go to Selma, Alabama. ONCE WE GET 100 MORE ORDERS FOR BUCKETS WE WILL ORDER 100 MORE BUCKETS – as of Friday Dec 5 @ midnight we have 75 buckets ordered on the third 100. Until then make up an order sheet and go out and get orders for the buckets. Meanwhile POST on this site more orders.

We’ve got 200 buckets out there. Nice job. Bring in your money once your buckets are sold.

Here’s the skinny.

• We buy Wesco Popcorn Buckets for $2.50 per bucket.
• We sell Weco Popcorn Buckets for $8.00.
• We make $5.5o off of every Wesco Popcorn Bucket.
• We must buy in cases of 100.

We don’t buy ONE bucket until I get pledges from you for how many buckets you want. Once you pledge to sell your buckets – they are YOUR BUCKETS – you are responsible for the $2.50 per bucket! You can’t return em to me.

So, POST HERE, with your name and how many buckets you will take!

By the way, the essays that were turned in were all quality. We will be able to take all individuals who handed me their essay answers. Nice job!

Hey Guys…don’t forget the Selma Meeting on Tuesday December 2 – 7:00 PM – my room. The meeting will take about an hour. We’ve got lots of things to go over. Costs and times and meetings and payment deadline dates. But all-n-all things are looking much better than I expected.

We are looking good on Flights, Transportation, and Hotel. I think those of you who want to go, make it to the meetings, and come up with the cashola…will be able to go.

Our Flight out is GREAT! Friday out of Detroit 8:50 AM into Birmingham 9:47 AM – We’ve got the WHOLE day in Birmingham!

Coming home is good too. Monday out of Birmingham 4:55 PM into Detroit 7:59 PM – We’ll have most of the day in Montgomery.
